It’s located in the most idyllic setting, so peaceful surrounded by gorgeous countryside, and the chateau itself is wonderful. There was a breakfast spread laid out in the morning too. I would describe it as 'shabby chic' as there are areas where money could be spent. However it is lovely and features such as the sweeping staircase, chandelier's and furniture look gorgeous. Town is only 4 miles away with a range of restaurants. Continental breakfast was great and plentiful. Only met 1 member of staff at breakfast but she was lovely and gave us some of the history of the chateau. Another English couple were staying in Kings Room and showed us around. Will book that room next time, if possible! Un intérieur au reflet de l'époque avec plusieurs salons pour se poser et une salle à manger vaste. Pas de service de chambre effectué et le ménage devrait être amélioré ainsi que l'entretien, bien que des travaux de réhabilitation soient réalisés. Problème d'écoulement de l'eau d'évier, cheveux qui ne m'appartiennent pas dans la douche. Une porte aurait été plus avisée qu'un rideau de douche. Je m'attendais à mieux concernant le petit déjeuner concernant les mets et leur quantité.
