Checking in was rough at Hotel Riu The unfriendly clerk asked for my credit card which I didn’t have on me immediately so I went out to where my husband who was in the rental car(just got off a 6 hour flight.)He came in with me and gave his card and it was approved. We both went back to our vehicle after getting our key cards and the male clerk chased behind me and said my card didn’t go through. I ( felt like a criminal)so I followed him back in. He doubled checked and sure enough it hAD gone through! No sorry no waters given like the other patrons. On a good note the breakfast buffet was delightful and clean rooms

Check on was ok; we arrive to the hotel earlier and our room was not ready yet; they offer to store our luggage and move it to the room when ready. We got a corner room which is bigger than the one you can get on one of the halls. Cleanliness of the room was ok, we noticed some built-up on the HVAC vent. The body wash in bathroom
Was either broken or empty. The rest of the amenities were as expected.
