We had a beautiful ocean view. Personnel was friendly. Room is nice but no TV and towels and bed sheets were yellowish with some stains. Also showerhead requires replacement, water was barely running. We had to remove it to be able to take the shower. Also one morning we noticed some bites all around the body. Looked like bed bugs. So we changed the room and after that it was ok. Canopus Retreat is an amazing place for holidaying and is very sceneric. I spend 2 days with my family and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this fabulous place, which is right on the beach shore. The ocean facing rooms are amazing with clean linens and all the amenities provided, making it a truly 3 star accommodation. All the staff are courteous and willing to assist any time with smile. The property is ideal for a romantic retreat and is right on the beach. Beautiful ocean view from the room balcony and private recliners on the beach was a cherry on the top. The management was very friendly and tried their best to make the stay memorable for me and my wife.
