We had a great experience. The rooms were clean and they have done good improvements to update the facilities. Staff was amazing and very helpful. To top it all off they have a game room that my kids loved!
A very distinctive, family owned and managed property close to Sequoia National Park. Dog-friendly is an understatement; they’re one of the rare breed that doesn’t charge a pet fee. The staff is marvelous — friendly, helpful, informative. The property is in the process of being upgraded, and by the summer should be in 5-star condition.
So much heart! Such good vibes! Friendly and attentive staff! So close to Sequoia entrance! Would return and recommend to others.

The motel has been renovated, seems to have been around a long time, but pretty clean and cozy inside. Winter stay and we stayed warm all night. Nice amenities…..kitchen, game room, ice machine, close parking to rooms. Kaweah River nearby and have their own section to enjoy!
We absolutely loved staying at Sequoia Village! The location is fantastic—just about 4 miles from Sequoia Park, making it super convenient for exploring the area. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome, and the staff were quick to respond to any requests we had.
The place itself is perfect for families. It’s well-equipped with a full kitchen and a BBQ grill, which made cooking easy and enjoyable. The kids especially loved the game room, and having access to a laundry room was a big plus. We also appreciated that it’s pet-friendly, so we could bring along our furry friend.
One of our favorite parts was the deck—such a peaceful spot to sit, enjoy a meal, and watch the sunset.
Highly recommend staying here if you’re planning a trip to Sequoia Park!
Sequoia village feels like a lovely home environment (instead of typical cookie cutter hotels). The 2 queen room was very spacious with dining tables and kitchen area. There kids loved the game room with foosball, paceman and board games. The hotel even has a community kitchen! It is right next to sequoia National Park so the location is perfect too!

This place was so charming ! staying there literally feels like a little community. they have a communal kitchenette, laundry and the owner does a fire every night. it’s a very warm, welcoming and cute little “cabin” experience with hot chocolate in the lobby. i really liked my stay here.

The place was very quaint. It has a hobo calming, relaxing feel to it. The place has a common kitchen, laundry and game room, and has lots of areas where you can hang out and chill. Our room was awesome with a deck overlooking the perfect view of the mountains. We sat out there for coffee in the mornings and a bottle of beer at night. The bed was one of the comfiest weve ever had. The bathroom was clean stacked with shampoo, body soap and conditioner so you dont have to worry about bringing one. It also has a private access to the kaweah river which we headed out to the first day we were there. Its very close to the foothill entrance of Sequioa which was our destination for this trip. Will definitely be staying here again!

Pet friendly; one of the dogs were not leashed and i was nervous. There s no grassy area for my dog to go to do her business. I saw the dog relief area but I had to go downstairs to do that. i dont feel safe. I had to go somewhere else for my dog.
We had problems with the wifi. lots of cliche with the internet and we were not able to watch the tv the whole time. it kept shutting down.
otherwise the room is fine.
thank you
The check in staff was extremely friendly and the price, for the area, was unbeatable.
However, if not for the price ($70), I would give them a 1-2 star for the room for the following reasons;
1. The shower cold water handle spun free, and required us to use a sock with grip soles to grab the bare copper tube to turn the cold water on.
2. The heater pumped cold air 70% of the time, so we were cold most of the night.
3. The window curtain fell off the wall in the middle of the night.
4. We found a bed bug the following morning, and our 4 month old has several bites on him.
So if you're on a tight budget, or you're looking for a National Lampoon's style disaster comedy, this is the place to stop.
My family really enjoyed our three-night stay here. We made great use of the game room and the community kitchen during our visit. Checking in and out was very easy, and we were able to park right in front of our room, which was super convenient. The staff was also very responsive whenever we needed anything.
The room was a bit small for our family, I booked a room with two queen beds (I can’t remember the exact room type) for two adults and two kids, ages 13 and 10. Even though it felt a little tight, the beds were comfortable and the room had everything we needed for our stay.
I would definitely stay here again, though next time I may look into booking a larger room for a little extra space.
Also, I highly recommend Sequoia Adventures, located just a couple minutes down the road. My kids and I did the quarter river trip, and it was so much fun!
