Upon entering the house you will notice the Breathtaking Views of the River and Mountains. The Oasis River House is the perfect Riverfront zen retreat to relax with family and friends in the city of Three Rivers, CA. It is only 5 miles from the entrance to the Sequoia National Park. The property is absolutely amazing. It has many full size statues in the park like backyard. The gazebo overlooking the River is truly magical. This is the main fork of the Kaweah River. This Main Fork of the River always has water flowing through it. The house is a very large 3 bedroom 2 bath , 2400 sqft. The master bedroom , kitchen and livingroom have windows with views of the River. The garage is a game room with a ping pong table, pool table, jenga set and also a basketball court in the driveway, soccer ball and football. The House is completely remodeled with new paint, flooring, kitchen appliances, to all new furniture and linens. While relaxing on the back deck with views of the river you can use the BBQ to cook some delicious food. The riverfront location was amazing. Lots of outdoor space to enjoy - the kids loved the swing chairs. So close to everything in 3 rivers and not too far from all major retail chains in Visalia. Our favorite spots in Three Rivers were Three Rivers Brewing (which was kid friendly - they will even let you bring frozen yogurt from next door in for the kids to eat while you get a drink) and Ol Buckaroo for dinner. The house is on the Keweah River and includes a covered patio on the river with easy entry for swimming. We went in every day. We had 3 bedrooms with 4 queen beds. The house is clean and bright. We played pool in the garage every evening following our day trips into Sequoia and Kings Canyon NPs. Restaurants are within a few miles in town. It has all the amenities you need and you feel right at home from check in to check out. It is just outside Sequoia NP and an easy drive in for the day. Restaurants, coffee shops, and groceries within minutes of the house.Srey was one of the best hosts that we’ve ever had. He sent us information about the area a few weeks out which helped us plan our days. Would definitely stay here again in the future. We stayed 2 nights with our family of 6\. The house was the cleanest VRBO we have stayed in. The gazebo by the river was very nice. Our granddaughter got to play in the river some but this time of year the water levels are high and rapid with the spring runoff. There is a nice game room in the garage but one of the arcades didn't work. The host sent very helpful information beforehand so we knew where to shop for groceries. The gazebo was dirty and has some issues with birds. We had to spend time cleaning it when we got there and the next day it was dirty again. It was disappointing that the garage door would not open. It functions as needed and serves its purpose. The back porch, on which you can see and hear the river, the river-side porch, on which you can get lost (in a good way) in the rush of the river, and the in-river accessible area (on a smooth rocky area, depending on the height of the river) is the reason to book this accommodation. It was very clean and they even helped us have it fully stocked with our groceries upon arrival. Upon waking up, we were in awe of the views of the river and how much wildlife was there to see. Coffee by the water each morning was a great way to begin each day. We also enjoyed swimming and wading up the river to a small waterfall and additional swimming area. Shops, gas, markets, Sequoia park, and restaurants are all within 2-10 minutes of the home. There is a property directly across the river, but we rarely saw anyone there during our stay. You could hear some music from the brewery on the weekend, but otherwise it was very quiet and peaceful. Our kids enjoyed the game room during the mornings and evenings when the heat died down. They do have an air unit in the garage that helps too. Just like any home, it has its quirks to get used to, but the homeowner was so helpful and quick to make us comfortable with advice and anything we needed.Go to Gateway restaurant by the park and book far ahead for Crystal Cave tours online! Nearby Visalia has some great restaurant and entertainment options as well. Indoor golfing at Mulligans was a hit with everyone when we needed a break from being outdoors! Sushi Kuu, Tommy’s, and Bistro Di Bufala are all places we highly recommend!We all agree this is the perfect home base to visit Sequoia!
