Not up to 5 star standard
This is graded 5 but should be a 4 and possibly lower. Room was in need of maintenance and there was evidence of mould in the shower. Carpet was stained and fitted furniture scratched and damaged. Mini fridge was dirty and turned off on removing key card on exit. Penthouse restaurant is good for breakfast but items not replenished regularly.

Not a 5 star hotel
Car park is absolutely a mess. Front car park is fully occupied by customers of Starbucks and shopping centre. No proper ballet. Under 40degree weather carrying your luggage from awkward and.far rear car park is not great!! Minibar in room is empty. 4 star hotel in Sofia had a full minibar with many drinks and snacks. They force you to buy and wear a plastic on your head in the pool. Breakfast has good options.

I’ve stayed at several hotels in Edirne and this is by far the nicest. Bedding is nice. Staff are friendly and speak good English. Bathrooms are relatively clean. It’s nice. If you’re staying in Edirne and want a good feeling, just stay here. Price seems to fluctuate, but anytime it isn’t too high, I’m very happy to book at Margi.

Large and comfortable room. Big bathroom. Comfortable bed. During our stay the pool did not work. The breakfast is not so good. If you plan shopping Margi outlet is just a step away.

Good but not great
Much to like about this hotel but it's not the 5star it promotes itself at. Room is good but aircon very poor. It automatically turns from cooling to heating overnight so you must turn it off and open the window to let in traffic noise if you don't want to be stifled. Car parking adjacent but not secured - we were fine. Centre is 2km taxi ride away but not an issue. Restaurant food very good but service less so. The 24hour reception is not! No response when we were stifling hot at 2am

One if the best in Edirne
This was my second time in this hotel. I think it is a good one while visiting Edirne. The rooms are modern,clean and good size. The staff is friendly and helpful. The city center is about 30 minute walking. There are also plenty of cafes/bars/restaurants just 15 minute walk away.

Visited Baha'i Holy Places -- and the Margi hotel
We are a parent, two teenagers, and two grandparents. We were visiting the Baha'i Holy Places in Edirne and found the Margi hotel online. We were here for five days and found the accommodations exceptional. We especially wanted a swimming pool due our long travel time from the States. This hotel is about 1 1/2 miles from the center of town. We decided to take taxis which were very reasonable to get to our destinations. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast which came with the room was excellent. I would stay here again in a minute.

Visit Baha'i Holy Places and stay at the Margi
We stayed at the Margi hotel for five days in June, 2015 to visit our Baha'i Holy Places in Edirne. I have to say the service was very impressive, as was the new pool. This hotel is only two years old. The hotel is located about 2 miles from the largest mosque in Turkey. There is a new shopping mall next door with nice restaurants. I just could not ask for better service at the prices we paid.

My only real complaint is that Margi was not quite as clean as I'd expect from a five-star hotel. Otherwise, it's probably the nicest hotel in Edirne.

Excellent Facility For A Short Stay
This was an overnight stay on our way to Bulgaria. The hotel is a lovely facility and very comfortable. It didn't bother us, but the location is a little remote, although there is a small shopping mall next door, and the bus into Edirne stops right outside the front door. The staff in the top floor restaurant could have been more attentive.

Margi Hotel Edirne
I stayed three nights at the Margi Hotel while I was in Edirne to photograph the Kirkpinar wrestling tournaments. The hotel far exceeded my expectations. It was modern, comfortable and very clean. Also the hotel staff were helpful and accommodating. I would highly recommend staying here.
