She gave wonderful recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to try in the surrounding area, which was really appreciated. The house was nice and comfortable. It was a little on the older side, but that was perfectly fine for us. We came to relax, enjoy the peace and quiet, and spend time exploring the outdoors. If that's your main goal, then this property is a great choice!"

"What a beautiful cabin! I didn’t want to leave. Coffee and a book in the loft. Cocktails on the deck or dock. Fully appointed kitchen. So very quiet with views to die for. Didn’t use the firepit. Must be able to maneuver the spiral staircase. Would stay again. "

"It was the worst place i have ever stayed, it was supposed to be a double room but it had one queen bed,the room was supposed to be new remodel but it was not,i had surgery is the reason I stayed i had to walk to the office to get toilet paper and towels and return to office with used types "

"I wish we had known renovations were happening during our stay. Fortunately, we didn't need to nap during rhe day- pounding and drilling and whatnot going on all around us. The pool wasn't open, which made sense, but still wasn't labeled as seasonal (late April in the South) The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast on time and well managed. Waited at the desk because our keys didn't work the 2nd day for about 10 minutes without a bell or any way to contact staff. Always a plus when there's a bathtub, as the hot tub wasn't available Stayed while visiting The Dismals Canyon"

The location was peaceful and serene—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings.The home itself was spotless, well-maintained, and offered plenty of space for our group. It was more than comfortable for a large gathering, with room for everyone to spread out while still feeling cozy and connected.
