"The property is not fully open post hurricane. Many of the amenities are not available, which was not disclosed. For example, the family side is not available which means certain amenities which are located on the family side is also not available. They are still recovering. However, the staff, the food and the entertainment was unmatched. They did their best they could to accommodate for the circumstances."

"This hotel is located in downtown Ocho Rios, what it lacks in location it makes up for in cleanliness , beautiful architecture inside and excellent staff. Everyone tried to make sure we had a good stay. The staff was polite friendly and helpful. Great for the price, will return."

"My family and I had a great time here. It is much smaller than I’m used to but the kindness and smiles from everyone who worked there certainly made up for that. The service staff went above and beyond everyday and always had a smile to give. The food was great and we enjoyed sampling some Jamaican food. The jerk chicken and hand breaded onion rings were enjoyed daily by us. We would certainly return if we come back to Runaway Bay in the future! "

Front desk clerk lacks professionalism and courtesy, they forget people are paying for a service and experience not your baggage from home. 2. You pay a hefty some for a wedding at the venue and they can’t accommodate a late check out, I had to get an Airbnb nearby for my wife to get ready for our wedding. 3. We decided to get their Breakfast, they up-charge fried dumpling when you want a get it in place of toast with a omelette absolutely ridiculous. 4. Cleaners come knocking on your door if you go a min over your checkout time. Absolutely mind-boggling. 5. Place is old and run down. Don’t waste your money, you can get some views with better quality and customer service don’t waste you or your family’s time. "
