Holiday Home in Village with Fountain

This former winegrower's house is located in the centre of a historic village. The terrace and garden (with fountain!) are completely private and offer the ideal location for a relaxing start to the holiday day.

Here you are in the heart of a fantastic region, dotted with organic vineyards and picturesque villages. You can swim in the nearby river, but a day by the sea (20 km) is also an option. Enjoy wonderful hikes through the mountains before dining at cosy restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the accommodation.

The holiday home has comfortable bedrooms and a cosy living room with elegant furniture. The well-equipped kitchen allows you to prepare your favourite delicacies independently and the presence of a washing machine allows you to travel light.

Parking is not available in the garage. You can park in the public car park, 200 m away.

The old wine storehouse had a unique charm that we loved, Everything was clean and comfortable, The private garden was a nice touch, perfect for unwinding after a day out, Just a short drive to the beach, which was a bonus!

Liked: Location central to wine country appellations of Faugeres, Saint Chinian and Minervois. Size of house, kitchen, garage parking , very large partially covered terrace. Very close walking distance from excellent restaurant and boulangerie/patisserie. Disliked: Noise of never ending two stroke motor bikes charging up into the village in the late afternoon until 10 PM every day we were there. It was overwhelming, startling and unnerving. We were constantly in the middle of a motocross event . Stairs. We entered on the ground floor, 22 stairs to the living area and kitchen, and another 20 stairs to the bedrooms and bathroom. Must note we are in our 70’s and YMMV.

Een geweldige plek om te verblijven de regio romd Beziers te ontdekken. Onze bevindingen: + overdekt terras is een fijne, zeer ruime plek waar je de hele dag door kan verblijven + ruime kamers + fijne badkamers + op loopafstand van bakkerij en restaurant (dichtbij) en grote supermarkt en biowinkel (iets verder) - grote parkeergarage, maar zeer moeilijk in te parkeren met een grote auto - temperatuur warm water aan de lage kant - aantal potten en pannen is beperkt - vaatwasser maakt niet altijd goed schoon, ondanks een schoon filter - ingang via een slaapkamer is wat onhandig

Mooie accommodatie, verzorgd, ruim, overdekt terras, ... Nadelen waren wel: - bakker in dorp was weg, dus elke ochtend met twee kleintjes in de auto, niet handig - geen toegang tot tuin via garage, onhandig voor kids - garage enkel geschikt voor kleinere voertuigen omwille van de snelheid van voorbijrijden auto's en tijd die je nodig hebt voor manoeuvreren. Jammer, want grote garage ... - ideale ligging, in de buurt van rivier, leuke dorpjes, stadjes, zee, bezienswaardigheden, ... - goed uitgerust huis - alles steeds moeten afdekken met handdoeken op terras is onhandig

Zaterdagmiddag mochten wij ons huis in, via een sleutelkluis konden we naar binnen. Het huis was precies zoals we verwacht hadden ( van de foto's ). Heerlijk die airco...dat was echt nodig! Een fantastisch terras waar we heerlijke lange avonden hebben genoten. Ruimte genoeg, we waren met 8 personen, een vaatwasser, 2x badkamer, wasmachine...echt alles was aanwezig om er een relaxte vakantie te hebben. Heel dicht bij het huis zijn wijngaarden, waaronder Mas des Dames. Daar woont een Nederlandse vrouw die daar het avontuur begonnen is en echt geslaggd is. Heerlijke proeverij gehad en natuurlijk het nodige gekocht! Mooie riviertjes in de buurt waar je heerlijk kan zwemmen of zelfs bbq- en. Strand is ongeveer half uurtje rijden, Valras Plage of Vendres Plage. Je kunt erover blijven schrijven...Ik zou zo weer terug gaan, aanrader!!

Het huis biedt heel veel ruimte en was zeer schoon. Ideaal voor wie wat rust zoekt en luxe van eigen huis niet kan missen. Geweldig huis! We hebben ook genoten van de vele boeken die aanwezig waren. Aanrader!

Nous avons beaucoup appràșœiĂ© la grandeur du logement. Le nombre de pis, la grande terrasse, de mĂȘme que les jeux (tennis de table, ...) Ă  disposition Ă©taient vraiment parfait. Le garage Ă  voitures est Ă©galement un Ă©lĂ©ment trĂšs positif. Enfin, la douche au rez, toute proche de l'entràșž est parfaite pour les retours de plage en famille.

schöne große Terrasse (Holzstaub rieselt von HolzwĂŒrmer in den Balken). Schöne Zimmer, gute Raumaufteilung, Tischtennisplatte, Grill, gut ausgestattet, 30 Minuten vom Meer. Der BĂ€cker, die Apotheke und Fleischer innerhalb von einer Minute. Zimmer zur Straße sehr laut. In den SchrĂ€nken und Bad noch persönliche Sachen, in einem Zimmer Bettwanzen oder beißende Spinnen (unser Sohn wurde ca. mal 50 mal gebissen und musste zum Arzt) Das Zimmer konnte nicht mehr benutzt werden und leider war der Service (Housemartin) ĂŒber die Bereitstellung eines Ungeziefersprays hinaus nicht engagiert.

Sehr urig und individuell eingerichtet. HĂŒbsche Terrasse und gemĂŒtlicher Innenhof mit Flair. Alle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, die man braucht, fußlĂ€ufig erreichbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Das Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss ist ein Durchgangszimmer und riecht etwas muffig, wird aber nicht unbedingt gebraucht, wenn man nur mit sechs bis sieben Personen dort ist. Außerdem gibt es dort genug Matratzen,die man noch zusĂ€tzlich auf die anderen RĂ€ume verteilen könnte. Denn alle anderen RĂ€ume sind prima!

Zeer pittoresk dorpje. 's morgens vers brood gaan halen. Alle winkels zijn op wandelafstand van het huisje. Aanraders om te bezoeken (voor regionale producten) "domaine predain le bas" Dit is een olijfboerderij. Zeer vriendelijke dame.op maandag en vrijdag te bezoeken. 1 km van Beziers richting thezan. Voor de wijnliefhebber is er keuze genoeg. Een zeer goede wijngaard is "domaine perdiguier" . Zeer warm onthaal. Rondleiding door de velden en in de echte wijnkelder. Op woensdag vanaf 10h. Alles was uitstekend in het huis, als je iets vergeten bent thuis, geen stress. Je vindt er alles van shampoo tot kruiden.

Nous avons fĂȘtĂ© un bon NoĂ«l en famille dans un village tranquil et agrĂ©able. Nous avons eu du bon temps (beaucoup de soleil pour des scandinaves!) et nous avons visitĂ© des jolis villages dans les alentours. La maison Ă©tait grande, jolie et trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©e, ce qui nous a permis de prĂ©parer des bons repas avec des produit rĂ©gionaux. La terrasse est extraordinaire, mĂȘme en hiver!

Sehr schönes Dorf, sehr schöner und großer Balkon - Haus mit Flair und wunderschöne Umgebung. Wir sind auch auf sehr nette Nachbarn gestossen. Nach unserer Erfahrung fĂŒr Kinder unter 6 Jaren nicht so geeignet, da sehr viele Treppen (enge Wendeltreppe vom Balkon runter auf den Hof). Springbrunnen ist fĂŒr Kleinkinder auch gefĂ€hrlich.

Super viel Platz, tolle grosse Terrasse, schöner funktionierender Springbrunnen, perfekte Ausstattung mit GerĂ€ten, hilfsbereite Nachbarn, Garage am Haus, 2 Minuten zum BĂ€cker, gewachsenes Dorf - keine Feriensiedlung! Die Liste kann unendlich fortgefĂŒhrt werden, wir schwĂ€rmen immer noch! Sehr enge Einfahrt fĂŒr ein Familienauto.
