"The room was lovely: spacious, great mattress and pillows, large shower space, espresso machine, large water carafe for still or sparkling water. The breakfast was very good. The staff was wonderful. The person who checked me in was warm and welcoming. When I told her I was going to go out for coffee after checking in , she told me there was a coffee machine in my room. Once I got to the room I realized there were no milk packets for my coffee. I went back down to the same person, and asked if had any milk available. She went to the breakfast room and got a tea pot and she heated milk for me to take up to my room. What a nice touch that was! Everyone I encountered in the hotel were obviously committed to making it a great overnight stay. And last: the location for an overnight stay to break up the Paris to Madrid trip was perfect. The hotel is attached to the train station and a ten to fifteen minute walk to the restaurants and downtown area. "

"Pros: The bed was very comfortable, the linen was clean, and the bedrooms were spacious. Cons: Unfortunately, there were several issues. The surrounding area felt quite dirty. While it is located in the heart of the city, it seems to be on a less pleasant street — there was dog mess around and a strong smell of urine outside. At night we could clearly hear drunk people arguing, which made it difficult to sleep. Inside the property, cleanliness was also a concern. The photos online seem misleading and may have been taken some time ago. The sofa had visible stains, the pans were heavily scratched (which could lead to plastic particles getting into food), and there was mould in the bathroom. Overall, the apartment would benefit from a thorough deep clean, particularly the cutlery, floors, bathroom silicone, and sofa. In the end, it was inexpensive, and it did feel like the price reflected the condition."

"The property was fine for the price. The location is excellent, but you cannot take Uber there given it’s more of an alley location. But that ended up not being a big problem. Be careful though on check yet. The written communication is a bit vague. If you get there from 3 PM to 8 PM there is a guard that lets you in with no problem. Outside of those hours make sure to contact them. Written instructions imply that you need to contact them no matter what. We found that that is not the case. And of course, we didn’t pay attention to the written instructions until we were almost there."
