"The staff are a 10/10...really wonderful people, including in the restaurant. While the rooms are modern and clean, ours was a bit tight for two people. The TV only seemed to offer ROKU streaming, not cable, dish, or broadcast stations (maybe I couldn't figure it out). We had a defective coffee maker, but they replaced it with a brand new one. Very pet friendly, and a great location for walking to parks and downtown. Good value."

"I noticed the hotel guests just tossed their cigarette butts in the parking lot and near the entrance door. Perhaps management should put larger signs to to inform guests to dispose their cigarettes properly; the parking lot and walkways are not ashtrays. In the bathrooms, I suggest moving the towel rack above the toilets. Directly across from the toilet is not the ideal location. Also, put a hook on the back of the bathroom door to hang items. Perhaps add a vending machine to offer more a variety of snacks."

"The bed was firm and comfortable, and room temperature was perfect. There is of course some highway road noise from all the big rig traffic that comes through just south of the motel, but not terrible (and truck traffic is fairly light overnight). The shower stall is small, so large guests may have trouble maneuvering within it. Wall-mounted hairdryer worked just fine, and there was a more than ample supply of shampoo, body wash and conditioner. The snack basket was a nice touch: a couple packages of Orville Redenbacher microwave popcorn and some Ghiradelli sea-salt caramel chocolate squares. Drip coffee maker and coffee pouches + serviettes supplied to cover two days. (More available in the office.) Quite comfortable (if dated) Lazy-Boy recliner in the room. The gas station / convenience store is a short walk from the motel, and they have basically everything. One final note: locking the door took a couple minutes to figure out. The instructions warned of this, but said you might need to pull the door shut very hard in order to get the lock to engage. This was not the case with room #11: if you pull the door to the jam and try to engage the lock, the dead bolt doesn't align and the lock won't engage. The door needed to be loosely closed (half inch from the jam) to get the lock to work. Easy once you figure it out."

"Attentive communication by the owner. Semi-private location. Lots of sleeping options and a good variety of spaces for different activities. Well stocked kitchen. Pool is deep and has plenty of floaties and toys for the pool. Hot tub is clean and cozy. House has a lot of personality and some quirks that make for an interesting get away."

"The property was excellent. Lots of room for parking, large yard for play, great pool and patio areas, more reclining lawn chairs needed. More towels and toilet paper needed. We also had a problem with the septic tank, but the property manager was very fast and efficient in taking care of the problem. The living room furniture is very uncomfortable and broken in some places. Kitchen area is excellent lots of dishes and every small appliance needed was there. Better TV in the basement rec room wood be appreciated by all who stay. All in all this is an excellent vacation property for large families. We would absolutely stay here again."
