Washington Plaza Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Really good hotel conveniently located a walking distance from all the museums and attractions, that is if you don’t mind walking. There are restaurants, CVS, parks, metro station and bars located in the vicinity. The pool was nice and clean and there were plenty of beach chairs, the outside bar was fully stocked and the drinks were good. The only “issue” I had, even though it’s not really an issue because they’re making the hotel and experience better, is that I missed out on the indoor bar/restaurant because it was under renovation. Missed out on that but it is looking good. I’d definitely recommend it especially if this is your first time in DC. I’d definitely stay again in this hotel and hopefully the indoor bar/restaurant is completed."

"The guy that was working the fishing pier is super helpful and friendly. Sorry I can’t remember his name. Wish he could get a more variety of bait other than hot dogs, but we caught some nice bluegills. Our kitchen had no drain plug for the sink. Could also use a sponge or something to wash dishes. Guests should not have to bring these necessities along on vacation. I have stayed in the past and knew to bring laundry soap and dishwasher detergent, but for pans could really use a sponge or something."

"Great boutique hotel with satisfactory amenities. Very few wall signs required maintenance/ repair. I arrived around 2pm and tried checking in early which would allow me to get to my seminar in a timely manner but was told that a $45 fee would be charged for early check-in. I understand the value of paying this if you have a waiting list of people trying to check in and the lobby might be overcrowded. But the lobby was calm, only 2 other people were waiting patiently for 4pm to check in. I think this is where excellent customer service is differentiated from good customer service, knowing when to be flexible regarding the fees. But I get it, it's a business but sometimes these are the details that matter when it comes to customer satisfaction. Overall, great hotel at a great price and would consider staying here again. Staff was very respectful and professional. Also, room needed better lighting besides the mood lighting."
Miami International Airport Hotel

"The property is super convenient for an overnight airport stay. Imagine clean 1980’s Holiday Inn style with a Florida flair. Staff was kind and helpful, upstairs restaurant was excellent. The bathroom is tight and shower heads are low."
Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort

"Good size of room, clean with lovely view of the pool area. Large hotel but lots of lifts. Lots of amenities, good food court with lots on offer, a milk shake bar which was amazing, and a Starbucks for quick snacks and coffee hits. Easy to walk to Islands of Adventures and Universal Studios along a lovely shady path at the side of a lake takes about 20 mins but bus transport also provided to all 3 parks - run very regularly."
