"Didn’t see any access for the handicapped to get out to the back piers. The back steps were hard for some seniors, You need a gift shop!!! Somewhere to buy incidentals or gifts since the closest stores were up the hill on the main road, not easily walked for some people especially with no car. Missed that the most! But a very beautiful place, quiet and very enjoyable."

"Such a beautiful place and the fall colours everywhere was a lovely bonus. Close to town and many beaches and parks. The house was stunning, truly a window into the past but also fully in the present. The little breakfast bar was modern but the surrounding parlour room was of another time. It was a seamless transition. Same with our room. A beautiful space fit for a queen with an uber modern shower stall. A true blending of the house's 175 years of history."

"The property was absolutely incredible. The setting and landscaping were beautiful and peaceful, and it made for such a restorative, soul-refilling weekend.The house itself was incredibly well thought out. We were so pleased with how well stocked the kitchen was, including spices and all the equipment we needed, and there were thoughtful little touches everywhere.Everything felt easy from the moment we arrived. The hosts were communicative, welcoming, and very easy to work with. We didn’t have any issues during our stay, and our only interactions were warm check-ins to make sure we had everything we needed.We would absolutely stay here again."

"This place is spectacular. My only hesitation about saying how amazing it is would be that it maybe even harder to come back and stay again . Beautiful place (10/10) in an AMAZING location (25/10!).Well worth the price of admission.Top notch cleanliness, great communication, and an overall excellent experience!"

"It’s a great place, welcoming and well equipped. We loved the terrace, the view and the kayaks. The one problem is the sky light in the bedroom. It is crazy bright in the morning and uncomfortable eye mask are not doing the trick. For a couple like us that want to sleep in it’s a big no. Please put some kind of blinds on there. Also I would not have wanted to put the fan on with that much dust up there."

"Grrat location on a quiet street but still close to get to attractions in Sooke. Very short drive to the potholes. Lots of space in the apartment, 2 big bedrooms and very large tv in the living room. We were all pleased with the snacks and breakfast foods provided."
