"Charming miners cottages in the centre of Burra, within easy walking distance to eating & shops. Quiet, spacious, very comfy bed. Being winter the cottages do get cold but heat pump soon fixed that. When we arrived at the front of the cottages a notice on the gate said to check in around the corner at the office on site so we drove around only to find a board propped against a tree saying check in was now via the camp ground along the road. Another couple were in the same boat. When we arrived at the camp grounds there we no issues, the lady was very friendly, i informed her of the miscommunication info& was going to sort it out. We were told the cottages are council run. A message prior to check in to clarify this would be helpful. An otherwise great stay."

"Excellent room with generous extras, a small bottle of wine, crisps, Kit Kats plus the usual amenities. We ate at the restaurant the first night, the meals were huge! A quiet & very comfortable stay."

"Rooms are newly renovated and very clean. There are 4 bathrooms to 5 rooms and these are all easy to access. Fully enjoyed our stay. Staff are amazing and the food from the hotel is brilliant. We will be staying again. Definitely recommend. "
