"Nice room and friendly staff"

"Our family recently stayed four nights at the Grand Hyatt Beijing, and overall it turned into a truly memorable experience. We did encounter some issues with the room condition on the day we checked in, which was a bit stressful given our tight schedule during a short stay in Beijing. However, what really stood out was how the hotel handled the situation. The staff went above and beyond to make things right and ensure the rest of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. In particular, we would like to thank Eva at the front desk. She was incredibly kind, professional, and handled everything with such care and efficiency. Her attentiveness and warmth made a lasting impression on us. Honestly, nearly every staff member we interacted with reflected that same level of hospitality, and we are very grateful. The location of the hotel is another major highlight. It is extremely convenient—situated above an underground shopping mall with direct access to two metro lines, and within walking distance to major attractions like Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. There are also countless dining options nearby, along with easy access to shopping areas. The hotel itself is well maintained, and we especially enjoyed the indoor pool and spa facilities, which were perfect for families. Breakfast was also a standout—an impressive selection with excellent quality that made for a great start to each day. Despite the initial hiccup, the exceptional service truly made all the difference. "

"Great location! Got a room upgrade and loved the room. The towels felt so clean and soft, it was a really nice room. Location was conveniently located near all the shops and restaurants, we didn’t have to walk far to grab food. The staff was really nice."

"Amazing front desk staff- though there was a language barrier they were so helpful for everything, even booking a taxi. Cool area of Beijing with the old houses around, gives you more of a traditional feel rather than big city. "

"Pool is closed, very old dark building and facility, they had a plumbing repair without notifying us so the water was running brown. Had to stay because I booked non refundable, and the location is central, but there’re TONs of other options steps away within the same price range. Won’t be back."

"It was such an amazing stay at The peninsula Beijing. They not only lived up to their reputation but exceeded our expectations in every way. Without even asking,our suite was upgraded to an even larger one, pre-decorated with balloons and a birthday cake to celebrate my husband’s birthday! It’s the first time staying at The Peninsula but it will not be our last! Thank you to the amazing team that made our stay a most memorable one "
