Maldron Hotel Dublin Airport

"The hotel is very convenient for Dublin Airport and the hotel runs a shuttle service every half hour / twenty minutes, depending on the time of the day, which is really good. We booked a room and breakfast as we had a mid-day flight so had the time to have the breakfast option. Room was nice and spacious. Well kept. Better than Premier Inns. Breakfast is a self serve buffet and all is really good 😀. On a par with Premier Inns (not all Premier Inns are the same. Milton Keynes very good, Premier Huntingdon -could try harder). I've seen a few reviews which suggest that the Maldron is a bit dated. It's a really busy hotel so there'll be the odd scuff and wear to hallway carpets, etc but some people must be staying at some pretty palatial hotels if they think this is tired. If I had to make a negative comment it'll be the price, but I guess for the convenience of the location, that's what you pay."

"I would recommend Malahide Guest Rooms to anyone staying in the area. The property was great, but even better than that was the host. She did a great job to accommodate all of our needs, and was delightful. The rooms were everything we needed, and they did all they could to help make the stay wonderful for us and our kids."

"Our room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the views from our room were amazing. The breakfast was just OK, I don't recommend the pancakes but the omelette was great. The sauna and cold tubs are nice and the very easy walk to the beach was perfect!"

"The Old Borough hotel rooms are above a bar, but despite being a Thursday evening, the rooms were quite quiet. They are away from the drinking customers. They were clean, the staff were courteous and helpful. You go to the bar to check in, and that seemed strange at first, but worked just fine. The clerk offered to book us a taxi for the next morning and the taxi arrived early, which was great. The only difficulty was the lack of parking for checking in, as we first checked in before dropping our rental car off. The parking lot was totally jam packed with bar/restaurant guests. There was no place reserved for hotel guests to park and check in. We got it worked out, but it was very stressful, and included me having to make maybe a 9-point turn to re-orient the car. It also included two random passers-by volunteering to help coordinate the traffic. I'm not kidding! Those two were so nice and helpful!! We left too early to sample breakfast."
