Lovely large clean room, shower door wasn't on the rails but still could be used. Kettle and cups provided but no tea or coffee, maybe an oversight when preparing the room. All in all a perfect location to stay when visiting family in the area, parking available outside.

It was fine, comfortable bed, decent room etc, and an actual bath, which was great. However, it felt somehow a bit odd and unofficial in its atmosphere. As if it hadn’t completely changed from being just a local pub, and the (nice) staff hadn’t really trained in the hotel business. I’d stay there again though.
