"This stay marked a long awaited return to this amazing property and we cannot wait to go back! It is so beautifully appointed, equipped and maintained both inside and out, with great attention to detail. The flowers in the bedroom including fragrant jasmine were a lovely touch. Both Carmen and Alfonso were extremely considerate and welcoming. The village of Frigiliana is walkable and since our first visit, a footpath has been constructed along the main road making it safer to wander down to the pretty village to its many bars, restaurants and shops. I have to be honest, having visited the area before, we didn’t spend too much time away from the villa as we wanted to make the most of our stunning surroundings! "I stayed here over Easter with my family. Overall, we all had a wonderful holiday, but it didn't get off to the best start. At 2am on our first night, we realised we'd been placed on the side of the hotel where there is a dog that barks constantly. My family got little sleep that night, maybe a couple of hours at 6am when it finally stopped. Now, I had already read reviews from others about this barking dog issue, and so 3 weeks before my arrival, I e-mailed the hotel reception, to request a quiet room, away from the barking dog, but this was disregard it seems. Anyway, the hotel moved us and we were very happy with our new room. Totally avoidable though. Rooms are bit dated, but this did not bother me in the least, it was clean and comfortable and the cleaners came in each day. There was lots of wardrobe space. We asked reception to borrow an adapter, as there was only one socket in one of the bedrooms, our teens were happy with this as they could then charge their phones at the same time. Very slow WiFi, drops in and out constantly. Food imp was very good, something for everyone and very tasty. There was always some fresh fish and meat being cooked by the chef at dinner time. The restaurant staff are very friendly and attentive, and will help you get a table during busy times and they will bring your drinks order over to you. The pool area and beach club are very well maintained, clean, with lots of sunbeds. Leo does a great job of animation. Would highly recommend! "

"I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. It is modern, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Coffee maker and complimentary bottles of water were welcome extras. In good central location and secure parking available (extra cost but made clear in advance). Also has swimming pool which we didn’t use in our one night stay. "

"Delightful house and garden, and Stephen is a most genial and helpful host. The only improvements would be a new gas hob, as two rings now not working properly, and more glasses and mugs. Stephen generously gave us some cash to buy more mugs when we ran short! A few more replacement lightbulbs would also be ideal. But again, lovely place and superb host. Will want to come back again!"
