"The room was clean, but the linen/bedding was very old with holes in them. The mattress had two plastic protectors on it, that caused it to crinkle every time we moved. Some towels were stained. The room was to dark/ not enough lighting and no coffee maker in the room."

"Amazing spa like cabin! In person you can see that you have two neighbors, but both are behind trees so it is still very private.The back patio deck is SO cozy. The hot tub was clean and the cover was easy to remove and put back on. We loved watching the sun set through the trees.The two bedrooms are basically both masters, identical furnishings and both very comfortable. The bathrooms are bigger than they look in the pictures. The whole cabin is very well stocked, tidy, and clean. The only thing we wished the kitchen had was pot holders. Otherwise it has everything you need, and they have a nice assortment of spices as well.The dirt roads leading up to this area (not the owner’s fault) are a little treacherous especially post-rain, but my little Civic still made it up the steep hills!There is a very detailed manual and instructions everywhere, and things are clearly labeled, so it was very easy to figure out how to use everything thanks to the meticulously organized owners of Hygge Hill. We would definitely come back!!"

"We really, really enjoyed our stay at the Luxe. In fact, it was the very best thing about our visit to Broken Bow. We had never been to the area so we explored some other cabins we had been looking at, and this one is by far and away located in the most convenient, flat area as opposed to a hilly area. There really aren’t a lot of properties on the lake – or at least we never saw them – so this was the very best. Also, we noticed even the ones on the hills don’t necessarily have a great view – it’s really about the woods, so why not enjoy these? We enjoyed cornhole, the fire pit, and absolutely loved the garage door that opened onto the back patio and the fabulous swings. The only thing I did not understand from the listing was how much bigger it actually was than I thought – I thought there was one loft, but there were two! As some folks noted the steps going up to the loft are indeed big – this was not a problem for us. Having stayed in a lot of rental units, I really appreciate having the little extras that make things nice – and there were so many of those things (like soap, trash bags, etc). Everything we needed was there. The only thing I would say is having an instruction sheet for some of the items- like how to work the fireplaces would’ve been great, but they were really responsive by text, so that’s not a major complaint. My kids felt very cool in this place and my husband and I really had the most relaxing part of our road trip here. Thank you!"

"Kitchen had plenty of pots and dishes. The outdoor grill was great. We had a difficult time with the outdoor fireplace but maintenance showed us how it works. Firepit are was great. Beds were very comfortable. Loved having the laundry area in the main part of the house. Because we have older teens, they loved that their rooms were seperate from the main house. They felt like they had their own mini apartments. The loft area was great for the younger kids. They enjoyed the games and bunk beds. Fun area with a lot of things to do. Was beautiful seeing deer in the mornings. Possums and raccoons came out at night. Quiet neighborhood. Perfect getaway."
