Decize
7.8 out of 10, Good, (9 reviews)
"Accueil agréable à l'arrivée même si la question sur le nombre de couchages envoyé 15 jours avant n'a jamais eu de réponse. La chambre de 4 personnes est spacieuse et propre. Toilettes et douche dans le même endroit, en commun sur le pallier. Un peu juste pour y accéder... Beaucoup de bruits à déplorer au petit matin. On entend la route et le coq."

Stylish living in the village square with a large terrace overlooking the Morvan

10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful fortnight at the old forge with our little dog. The pretty little cottage was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The view from the cottage was absolutely beautiful. Ana was lovely, she gave us a few tips for some lovely lakeside walks and restaurants."

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Thaix?
The best time to visit Thaix, Bourgogne, France, is during the late spring and early autumn months, specifically from May to June and September to October.

These periods offer pleasant weather conditions, with comfortable temperatures ideal for exploring the region's vineyards and historic sites. You'll avoid the peak summer crowds and often find better availability for accommodations and tours. The spring brings blossoming landscapes, while autumn showcases the beautiful colours of the changing leaves and the excitement of the grape harvest.

For travellers who appreciate outdoor activities like cycling or walking through the countryside, late spring and early autumn are particularly good. The mild weather makes for enjoyable excursions without the intensity of summer heat.

If you're interested in experiencing the wine harvest first-hand, September and October are the superb months.
