If I was to sum up my experience in two words it would be, absolutely spectacular! From the intimate and personal service to the exceptionally appointed rooms and breathtaking scenery! Staff were good and location attractive but feels a little tired especially as the golf course has shut down - trying to be a 4 star but not quite there - lack of atmosphere and charm - charges for water in the room which really should be complimentary when 30 degrees outside and room rate is high , breakfast also very expensive considering you have to pay extra for egg options on top - again in a better class hotel this would be included - feels like a corporate Hilton.

We have a wonderful time at this hotel. Our room was ready when we arrived and exactly as requested. The entire staff was amazing. We mainly walked to all of our restaurants and tours. Conveniently located but in a quiet part of town. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Bordeaux
