"We had a challenging start. The entire beach was under construction due to a cyclone in January. We had no idea about this prior to our stay. When we arrived we had no hot water and it was only turned on the next day. The hot tub was not filled up initially and was not ready to go. Having said that, the apartment was fantastic for us. We were able to access the beach from some ramps made by the construction machines. The hostess was wonderful and very welcoming. She gave great advice for local activities and had several local delicacies waiting for us in the apartment. She was also very responsive to any of our requests. We had a lovely stay despite the rainy and cool weather. "

"This place is cool! It's old bit good. Like any older place, they could use new beds. The shower is comically small, but doable. I would definitely stay here again, the beach is right out the front door!"
