Room with old carpet, walls torn to pieces with some crazy marks and holes on them. The door was so jacked up you could see outside the room to the hallway. The bathroom was so small it was hard to close the door inside the bathroom. Water took forever to get hot. AC barely worked. Old outdated room that was in bad need of repairs. Forget using the bathroom, the toilets won’t flush.

The staff are what makes this place a 5 star hotel! Everyone we encountered was kind, friendly, and always asking how our stay was and how we were doing. They provided recommendations for us on dining and always answered our questions. Free breakfast was a plus, too! Our room was small and our view was next to nothing, which was kind of depressing when visiting New York but we made do.

"This hotel had everything we needed for a short beach getaway. We made use of the pool and enjoyed the outdoor tiki bar. They had private beach access with chairs and umbrellas dedicated to the hotel guests and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again."
