Beachfront Villa Just Steps To The Water

"This is our second time in Costa Rica and our first at Playa Potrero. Overall, this house is excellent. We had a wide range of ages from 24-81 years. The layout of the house with three bedrooms on the main floor and additional rooms upstairs was excellent. The pool and yard were great for daytime activities and the outside area for sitting and lounging was fantastic. We had the opportunity to see some fabulous sunsets and the cows strolling the beach one evening. A couple of days we had a local chef come in and cook in the great kitchen that was well equipped. This house sits in a great area for renting golf carts and visiting all of the fantastic local beaches that surround this area. Jimmy did a great job answering any questions that we had and helping us with transportation, etc. Thank you for the wonderful stay in Costa Rica! Our family loved the home!"

"This property is everything it seems and more!!! Right on the beach, with high tide coming close to the little road; so cool to watch. Cold A/C, well equiped if small kitchen area, nice bathroom with plenty of space to hang or fold clothes. Excellent on site hosts that are very responsive via Whatsapp."

"What.a.week. Our family had to make a last minute change in accommodations and we’re so glad we did! As a family reunion type of group, having separate casitas was amazing and everyone got their own little space. The newly built Monkey Lounge was awesome for hanging out, watching TV, playing poker, and watching for monkeys. The property itself is very cool and they’re constantly making additions and improvements. It’s Costa Rica—it’s not perfect, but this team is ready to respond. The biggest thing? This is more like a small resort vs your typical rental. With on-property staff, Mario (security), Julianna and Kina (housekeepers/cooks/do anything!), Lani (property manager), Kassandra (organizer of all the things) and Matt (owner), we were so spoiled. They were willing to jump in and help with dishes, clean the rooms midweek, sweep, take out trash—all of the things you don’t want to do on vacation. Mario even cleaned the monkey poop off our rental before we left. Kina made some amazing breakfasts, Julianna literally took a dirty glass from my hand and insisted on doing it. So very, very grateful to the whole team. The only thing we wished would have been access to the “staff kitchen.” If trying to cook on your own for a large group, it’s difficult with no oven, just an outdoor cooktop and counter space. We did utilize and grill and made it work! Cooking is easy in your room if just making for a few. Playa Potrero is such a walkable little town, too! Grateful."
