10/10 Excellent

"It was like staying inside a well kept jungle! The wildlife (birds and plants) on the property were gorgeous. We saw workers constantly cleaning pools and thermals, tending to the grounds, there was always someone around but no one ever bothered us to make us feel like we had to order something. The breakfast was amazing! We only ordered dinner once and it was beautiful. I was okay that the location was closer to the volcano than the downtown. My only complaints are that there weren't enough places in the room or bathroom to hang wet swim suits and I didn't love the bathroom products provided (shampoo and body wash). I would stay here again!"

"House was very clean and spacious! Entire family had a Great time--especially enjoyed the partially covered pool and outside patio area! Jimmy was easy to work with and so helpful in planning all of our excursions! Highly recommend the zipline and ATV's and the Jungle River boat ride!"

"This was our first time here and third to CR. We loved the property and wished we had more time to enjoy the amenities. It’s quiet compared to Playa Flamingo but for our last night couldn’t ask for better. The sunset views at the top of the hill were stunning. Service was one of the best we had from the moment we opened the car door to the time we checked out. Highly recommend! Cute quiet area to stroll through. Not lively but nice choices for food and drinks for an intimate setting at the beach. We’ll be back for longer."

"Beautiful property, loved the private outside sitting area and the beaches! Our favorite beach was the 2minute walk from property, bigger, calm waters, saw 2 devil rays in the surf. Host was very friendly and helpful. No restaurant on property but does have full kitchen.Note: beach in front of hotel is not private and gets busy, loud at times with ATV tours. Guard walks the property at night, makes you wonder why needed. Pool was very warm, not very refreshing. Also note, only bedrooms are air conditioned, main living areas are not!"

"This was the absolute trip of a lifetime and this house and the wonderful staff onsite are what make it a truly remarkable experience. The house could not have been more perfect for our family group of 13. Every bedroom was spacious and had its own nice bathroom. The view words cannot express and the sunsets are gorgeous and totally different every night. The proximity is close to several beautiful beaches we rode golf carts to. I cannot stress enough to trust Catalina’s recommendations on food and tours. Bless her… she was at our beck and call all week. We were loudly greeted every morning by the howler monkeys in the mango tree in the yard… many howler monkeys with lots of babies! Poco the dog became one of our own . He greeted us every morning and kept us company . Dunnia kept the house so clean. Martin and Benito kept our grounds and everything in the house perfect . Chef Kattya prepared her wonderful meals in the home. Her crew were amazing .. so professional yet fun !! Her sweet assistant Andy even took one of our sick guests to the hospital and stayed with her the whole time . Costa Rica and Villa Potrero will always hold a special place in our hearts. The people are so happy and respectful. Pura Vida !!"
