"This place was better then we thought. It was very spacious, beds were extra comfy and the kitchen was super stocked. Think Grandma’s house with all the essentials and pretty much anything you could think of. I would have loved if there was a little oil and salt and pepper available for cooking without having to buy it but it was so good. The pool is not huge but it was normally quiet and all ours.. the beach is super close and also quiet. Seriously playa Flamingo was crazy but Potrero. So calm...

"We only stayed one night as this was a landing spot for us after La Fortuna and before moving on to the south. I booked it mainly for the ability to do laundry and space to move around. We enjoyed soaking our feet in the pool this morning before rushing off to our next destination. The location for different beaches and near great food and shopping was great.The host was very fast and clear in responses."

"Yes the host was fine. I'm not sure if he is new to renting a VRBO, but the condo itself had some issues. We did have some significant issues with the address to the unit., which took us hours to find in the dark with no street signs and no cell service. Some of the dishes in the cupboards had food particles on them. Pretty disgusting. They had to be rewashed before we could use them. There were not many cooking utensils in the drawer to cook with. "The property was absolutely wonderful! Everyone loved the pool and the ocean only steps away was fantastic. Mercedes, who helped us each day to keep the house organized and clean, was amazing. Jimmy who helped us in so many ways was fantastic! He took care of all the details. Our family ( all 18 of us) had the most memorable trip. One we will never forget. Be sure to take the sunset cruise - it was the favorite for everyone."

"What.a.week. Our family had to make a last minute change in accommodations and we’re so glad we did! As a family reunion type of group, having separate casitas was amazing and everyone got their own little space. The newly built Monkey Lounge was awesome for hanging out, watching TV, playing poker, and watching for monkeys. The property itself is very cool and they’re constantly making additions and improvements. It’s Costa Rica—it’s not perfect, but this team is ready to respond. The biggest thing? This is more like a small resort vs your typical rental. With on-property staff, Mario (security), Julianna and Kina (housekeepers/cooks/do anything!), Lani (property manager), Kassandra (organizer of all the things) and Matt (owner), we were so spoiled. They were willing to jump in and help with dishes, clean the rooms midweek, sweep, take out trash—all of the things you don’t want to do on vacation. Mario even cleaned the monkey poop off our rental before we left. Kina made some amazing breakfasts, Julianna literally took a dirty glass from my hand and insisted on doing it. So very, very grateful to the whole team. The only thing we wished would have been access to the “staff kitchen.” If trying to cook on your own for a large group, it’s difficult with no oven, just an outdoor cooktop and counter space. We did utilize and grill and made it work! Cooking is easy in your room if just making for a few. Playa Potrero is such a walkable little town, too! Grateful."
