Very quaint. We had a smaller room but was aware of this. The main auberge is beautiful. Would be nice to have a fire pit or communal barbecue for those not having the cooking amenities. Otherwise we very much enjoyed our stay.

Friendly service. Beautiful view. Secluded pebble beach. Lake is a swimmable. Very clean room. Everything is compact, but everything was there: A/C, microwave, fridge, dishes, coffee, dish cleaning paraphernalia. Unique bed clothes - not institutional. Loved the picnic table and chairs, and Adirondack chairs on the beach.

For most of our guests, the beauty of the lake, the tranquility of the place and the fact that the rooms have been carefully renovated are more important than the size of the room, which can hardly be changed. We are sorry that this factor disappointed you so much.

The property was beautiful and overlooked the lake. It was clean and very nice inside - charming! I wished we could stay longer!

Beautiful setting and renovations but extremely hot with no A/C. Overpriced - could have stayed at Chateau Frontenac for same price as this motel!!

We wished we had booked it longer. The property overlooks a beautiful lake and it was so quite that we could rest peacefully. The breakfast was local and delicious and a perfect start to our day for our long trip to Nova Scotia. We would recommend Auberge Marie Blanc if you want step away into nature, history and delightful people.

Thank you for your comments. We are really sorry.. Air conditioning is rarely needed here. We use to have fresh air and wind coming from the lake and many guests use to sleep with the screen door open. It's too bad you were here during this unusual heat !

Very nice place. Like walking into a 70's retro room, but well maintained. No big screen TV. But who needs one,! Nature puts on a much better show. The owner is great, the food was super, and the view excellent. The main building is a nice old lodge. Very comfy and pretty. If you want a yuppie place, this is not for you. This is about natural beauty, and the lake is wonderful for morning meditation and coffee.
