Stayed here for our honeymoon and it was beautiful! They couldn't do enough for you and all the staff treated us like royalty. Shuttle/private car to Ubud centre was really handy. Experience team made such an effort to make our honeymoon special with little extras to make it special Pool was a little chilly but that Is the only thing I can think of that wasn't perfect!

Lovely newly built hotel, great views and staff. Needs some improvement in delivering the evening entertainment, but I'm sure they will learn with time. Some food was great, some so so. Chefs better making Indonesian dishes and lovely pasta rather than western dishes. A bit secluded so more suitable for those looking to stay in the hotel or rent a scooter

We had the best time at this hotel! Amazing decor and being situated right in the middle of the rice fields meant that the views from all around were incredible. The staff were out of this world, all so friendly, welcoming and polite. Although situated just outside Ubud, it was very easy to get in and meant we were able to escape to a more relaxing environment. Amazing stay! Staff was extremely helpful and the entire place was so calm. We had 3 nights of complete relaxation away from our normal busy life. We upgraded to pool villa which only made the entire experience better.

We stayed in a one bed villa with a private pool, the villa itself was beautiful and spacious, the veranda and the private pool area have wonderful views, perfect at any time of day. The complimentary mini bar, breakfast and afternoon tea were all wonderful, there was a great selection at breakfast and the staff looked after us very well, making sure that we had enough. The afternoon tea contained different sandwiches and cakes every day for our 5 days. I will return as soon as possible.

We spent 4 days here. If you want privacy, this is the place to come - you have your own villa (with walled garden, deck and plunge pool), the "room" service is great. You'll have your breakfast on your deck (monkey situation permitting) or inside the villa. Talking about monkeys - the name "Monkey Forest" is not there for marketing only. We stayed for 3 nights in mid-October during a 12 day Bali holiday and this was by far the nicest of the 4 hotels we stayed in. The staff were wonderfully helpful and the hotel had a lovely peaceful air to it. A beautiful hotel, incredible pool villa and the most wonderful friendly staff. Shuttle service to ubud or taxis are c£5 each way. Breakfast and dinner options are great. Would highly recommend as a fabulous five star resort.

We loved our 4 night stay at Maya Ubud! The hotel is secluded, in the middle of the jungle, and has 2 amazing infinity pools. The staff is super nice and helpful. Great spa in an incredible setting with very good treatments. The rooms are average though and the condition of the furniture not great.

Wonderful hotel in a great location Stayed here in May 2026 and would highly recommend this hotel. The staff were amazing and looked after us throughout our 3 nights stay. This place has one of the best private pool villa for the given price. Although the road to the property is very poor and there is nothing scenic outside but inside the property it's like being in a beautiful rainforest. Food:The restaurant service is amazing with a breakfast with limited options but better in taste and quality than any other breakfast buffets of a 5 star property.
