The apartment itself is in the Sololaki region on the SW edge of the city. It is about 10-15 minute walk from Freedom Square. The building itself is an old-town house and currently undergoing renovation. The entry from the street is via an old entrance door and the apartment is on the first floor. It has secure entry locks etc. The apartment itself is spacious and well fitted with large TV, good quality kitchen items, etc. There is a double room on the main floor and then a second double bed in a kind-of loft space. All in all, I was very impressed with the apartment. It is very close to several good quality shops (e.g. Spar supermarket) and very good coffee bar / bakery. The owners kept in good contact and met me at the airport for a modest fee (cheaper than a taxi). Also took me back to airport for return flight.
