Cabin on a Hill

Beautiful nature in a quiet farm area. Good home with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms! Has everything you need to spend a calm vacation in around the mountains with fresh air. Small mountain river next to the house, beautiful porch where you can relax and drink coffee! Good kitchen with all the supplies and utensils you’ll probably need.
The cabin is on a steep hill, so the drive way is on a nice incline. Will not be easy for motorcycles to drive up.

There was some confusion over reservation but host took care if it. Problem with water but host was getting it taken care of. Location was nice. Very steep dirt grassy driveway. Rain and snow could make it difficult if not impossible to to get up. No check in or check out instructions. No large garbage can outside. With all yhis said the host did all he could do to make sure we had what we needed.

Quite peaceful retreat
This house is very secluded in the beautiful hills of VA. A perfect base for exploring the area.

Family weekend
The place was beautiful and the driveway is steep but makeable. Only issues were we wished there was more room to park and the water was dirty (not the sulfur smell). The water was getting better by the time we left so it may have been that it just hadnt been used and it needed to flush out the line. Loved the area and the quiet and the games and videos.

A place to get away from everything
Great place to stay if you are looking to get away from everything. Plenty of room and all you need for escaping to the country. The water does have a very strong sulfur smell. Recommend you bring enough water for drinking and cooking. No Wifi, cable or internet so be prepared to watch DVD’s (owner has a lot there). I thought it was great because it forced the teenagers to spend time with us. We sat around the table and played UNO and made Christmas cookies. We had a wonderful time.

Cabin on a hill
Loved the location. Far enough from town to obtain that country tranquility but not so far that country panic set in. The layout of the home was perfect for guests and family to make the best of their stay.
