  • Welcome to Strae Cabin, a cosy two-bedroom wooden cabin tucked away in the peaceful Dalavich countryside. Set within a small chalet park surrounded by trees and woodland, it’s the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy a slower pace of life. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing break surrounded by nature, a base for exploring Argyll, or simply somewhere to unwind and recharge, Strae Cabin offers a comfortable and welcoming home-from-home.

    The cabin comfortably sleeps four guests, with one bedroom featuring a double bed and a second bedroom with bunk beds. The cosy living area has a two-seater sofa and armchair, a small internet-enabled TV, coffee table and dining area. The coffee table can also be used as a bench seat, allowing up to four guests to dine together. The compact but well-equipped kitchen includes an electric hob and oven, microwave, toaster, Tassimo coffee machine and kettle, along with ample crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. There is also a small under-counter fridge with a freezer compartment. The bathroom features a walk-in shower and towel rail. Outside, you’ll have your own private balcony with table and chairs, and midge nets are available for the doors so you can enjoy the fresh air while keeping the midges at bay.

    Strae Cabin is ideally located in the beautiful Dalavich area, surrounded by woodland and close to the shores of Loch Awe, with plenty of scenic walks and opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors right on your doorstep. A small café and bar are nearby for a relaxed drink or bite to eat, while the picturesque coastal town of Oban is approximately an hour’s drive away, offering shops, restaurants, harbour views and boat trips.
