"Nice property, lovely pool area, short walk to free transfer by boat to beautiful empty beach, decent gym, good quality drinks, roof top music bar, ..food a little limited and repetitive and had a few tummy issues while there, but you can walk into cabanas for other food options if needed (approx 10 mins)….popular with large golf groups. "Tavira is a very quiet area of the Algarve. This hotel is very convenient to the riverside and catching the quick ferry to the pretty island beaches. The hotel is between a 3.5 - 4 star, I’d say. They don’t have any staff to help w/your luggage. The ample buffet breakfast was nice!"

"Agnes and Bruno are wonderful hosts and are genuinely concerned that your stay in Tavira will be a pleasant one. My room was clean and spacious and was cheerfully decorated. The fact that there was no TV was actually a plus, as the news is always depressing. You have all the other comforts of home, since in the common area there is a refrigerator, a microwave and a hot pot for boiling water. An added bonus is a a rooftop terrace where you can lounge in the sun while gazing at the river. ...
