"Ceu Azul" – meaning Blue Sky is exactly what you imagine! A bright, sunny house with views you will never forget. Situated in Pinheiro, on the Ria Formosa Nature reserve, a rare, secluded and unspoilt spot in the Eastern Algarve. The nature reserve boasts many rare varieties of birdlife and here you will find them in your garden! Waking up to the sound of the sea and birds chirping in this special part of the Eastern Algarve, many of our guests do not wish to leave and return time and time again to "Ceu Azul". At the bottom of the garden a walkway and cycle route along the lagoon’s edge leads you west along the salt pans to Fuseta and East towards the stunning beach of Barril. Along the lagoons edge a short walk from Ceu Azul is a fabulous fish and seafood Restaurant, "Fialho", which is very family friendly and a joy to eat there at all times of the year… All of this right on your doorstep. It is a birdwatchers paradise and a family’s perfect holiday break, away from it all. From "Ceu Azul" you will be in easy reach of plenty of beaches and towns along the Eastern Algarve, All within a few minutes drive. "Ceu Azul" is an elevated 2 bedroom apartment, facing south making the most of the stunning lagoon and sea views. Steps lead up to the breakfast balcony and Villa.The kitchen is fully equipped including cool boxes for day trips away, should you be tempted to explore whilst staying here. An archway leads you into the light and airy south facing lounge, overlooking the ever changing hues of the lagoon and far reaching sea view. A wood burner makes the cooler months cosy and as enjoyable as the warmer months of the year. At the rear of Ceu Azul you will find the shower room, double bedroom and twin bed room both air conditioned (heating in the cooler months). Both of which are light, colourful and cheerfully decorated. The elevated balcony is superb for breakfast and has a very special view over the lagoon, sea and garden of Ceu Azul. The colourful garden attracts an amazing amount of local birdlife – previous guests have recorded up to 250 birds during a week’s stay. You may even be lucky enough to see the ‘resident’ cameleon who lives in the garden. There is a patio area, with sun loungers, table and chairs, parasol and the all important barbecue. A great area for soaking up the sun and enjoying barbecues or after dinner drinks and conversations, when you stroll back from the local restaurant. Pick fresh lemons off the tree, fabulous in gin and tonic or squeezed over your favourite fish suppers. Angebranntes verdrecktes Kochgeschirr, schmutziges Besteck und Essensreste auf den Tellern im Schrank! Wer Spinnen liebt ist hier sehr gut bedient! Die sind überall, auch im Bett. Die Fenster- und Balkontürdichtungen sind verschimmelt, die Schränke nicht geputzt, uralte Zeitungen (anno 2011) als Einlagematerial und stinken nach Moder! An meinem Aufenthalt war der Eigentümer gegenüber im Haus und hat jeden Schritt beobachtet und kontrolliert. Mal kurz weg und vergessen die Heizung abzuschalten - da war sofort die Kontrolle und die Mahnung man muss bei Verlassen des Hauses alles abstellen. Wer gerne dreckig lebt, sich gerne kontrollieren und beobachten lässt, Moder, Schimmel und Spinnen liebt, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Und damit einem nicht langweilig wird bei Ferienantritt kann man das dreckige Geschirr spülen um es benützen zu können! Ja, das hier war "was Besonderes" - überteuert und verdreckt - Sollte Ihnen sowas ebenfalls widerfahren, kontaktieren Sie sofort FEWO, melden das sofort und unverzüglich, machen Sie Fotos und ziehen Sie NICHT ein! Sie haben sonst keine Chance auf Hilfe oder Erstattung! Wer Aerger und Komplikationen sucht ist hier richtig :-) ##### Gabriella J. Und wir haben viele Vögel von dort beobachten können. Vom Balkon lässt sich jeder Sonnenuntergang genießen. Die Ausstattung des Hauses war gut und die Einrichtung macht einen freundlichen Eindruck. Ein sehr schöner Urlaubsort für Frühling,Sommer und Herbst. Leider ist es im Winter doch recht kalt im Haus und die großen Fenstertüren lassen die Sonne zwar auch im Winter ins Haus. Doch wird es abends sehr schnell kalt und morgens wacht man in einem kalten Haus auf. ##### Ute H. Wenn man auf der erhöhten Terrasse oder auf der unteren Terrasse sitzt und in den Garten mit den wunderschönen Palmen blickt kann man fantastisch entspannen. Die Fotos entsprechen absolut der Realität. Das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Auto kann in der Garage abgestellt werden. Fußläufig befindet sich ein gutes Fischrestaurant, nach Fuseta ist es zu Fuß allerdings über eine Stunde. Man sollte hier ein Auto haben. Dann können auch Fuseta, Olhao und Tavira oder andere Orte an der Algarve besucht werden. Wir kommen gerne wieder. ##### Inge B. Es ist sehr ruhig mit herrlichem Vogelgezwitscher. In der Nähe befindet sich ein tolles Fischlokal, ansonsten benötigt man ein Auto. Der Fußweg nach Fuseta durch das Naturschutzgebiet ist etwas umständlich mangels Überquerungsmöglichkeit über den Kanal. Innen ist das Häuschen gemütlich ausgestattet. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen und uns insgesamt sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. ##### Inge B.
