What a beautiful place! Million dollar views, an unbelievably friendly staff and consistently excellent food at the restaurant made our holiday perfect. We loved the infinity pool overlooking the ocean as well. The staff are so friendly and helpful, consistently going out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed. Until you are able to interact with Fijians, you truly don’t know how friendly people can be. Special thanks to Pini, Storm, Millie, Raymond and the whole crew at TIR. Thanks to living legend Ric (the owner) as well who we spent every breakfast with hearing stories about Taveuni and his efforts to promote diving and conservation in Fiji.

This is a lovely resort; the website pictures did not do it justice! Our villa was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The staff were kind, efficient and low-key. This place is a gem. The property is gorgeous with great snorkeling right in front of the resort and a beautiful pool. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable and the food is delicious, but none of that compares to the quality of the service. The staff goes out of their way yo help you and make you feel at home. Storm and Raymond were incredible—they helped plan all the details of our daily adventures, making sure every day was full of fun and unforgettable moments. The entire staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to make us feel at home. Taveuni Island resort is a rare gem. Set in incredible gardens with stunning views over the bay it offers the most relaxing holiday possible. The food was amazing - a choice each day from a set menu made from local produce from their farm. The small staff were super friendly and helpful - there was a tear in our eyes as we left. There are lots of lovely walks to waterfalls on the island well worth doing. And the scuba/snorkeling opportunities unparalleled. Highly recommend TIR.
