As you walk in the door you will be greeted with designer decor and the blue green colors of the Atlantic The Space: The Queen master bedroom is dressed in island finery with private bathroom, walk in shower, and flat screen TV makes for the perfect retreat. The second bedroom offers two twin sized beds and an attached bathroom that also opens into the hallway. You can "cook your catch" in the fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. We stock the condo with the following items to get you started for a fun and relaxing stay in the Upper Keys: two rolls of toilet paper, one for each bathroom; one roll of paper towels in the kitchen; dishwashing capsules; laundry detergent capsules or liquid; one pack of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in each bathroom; trash bags; hand soap; and dish soap. Guest Access: Entire space plus building amenities are included in this rental. Please, make yourself at home. Tavernier is a great choice for travelers interested in kayaking, scenery, fishing, diving, sunsets and an all around wonderfully relaxing time. The Neighborhood: Ocean Pointe Suites, nestled on 60 exclusive acres in South Key Largo, is gated and manned 24/7\. This ocean side condo is only 10 miles from John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park and 1.7 miles from the Wild Bird Sanctuary. The Florida Keys is home to some of the best fishing, snorkeling and diving in the world. Key Largo's proximity to the everglades also makes it a premier destination for kayakers and ecotourists. The drive to Key West is approximately 2 hours south and is remarkable! The Florida Keys offer a fantastic variety restaurants, but with the bounty of fresh seafood available its not surprising that the cuisine of the keys is largely built around the catch of the day. Getting Around: A car is needed in the Florida Keys. Ocean Pointe is roughly 70 miles south of Miami International Airport and approximately a 2 hour drive to the Southern Most Point in Key West. Other Things to Note: Please treat me home as if it was your own. \*BUILDING 1 is having balcony work done. Please do not use the balcony if spalling work is being done on your balcony. They will be working Monday - Thursday from 8am - 5:30pm. PETS AND SMOKING ARE PROHIBITED Please respect our neighbors. Guest are asked to refrain from loud parties, no destructive behavior or drugs!!! If police are called to condo during your stay, you will be ask to leave and forfeit remaining rent. Renters are responsible for cleanliness of condo during your rental stay. KAYAKS AND PADDLE BOARDS AVAILABLE TO RENT VIA PADDLE THE FLORIDA KEYS MARINA INFORMATION: Advance reservations are required for all marina and trailer reservations. All marina and trailer reservations are handled by a separate entity, First Service Residential. You must contact First Service Residential to reserve. Reservations cannot be made upon arrival – all reservations must be made in advance. The marina will accept boats up to 28 feet. Ocean Pointe Suites Marina slip rentals are reserved on a first come, first serve basis. All boats are required to carry insurance ($300,000.00 Liability and $100,000.00 property damage) as mandated by Ocean Pointe at Key Largo Condominium Association. Proof of insurance is required upon making reservations. Boats not carrying the minimum required coverage will not be allowed onto property. We absolutely loved the property! It felt like our home, away from home. It was clean, beautiful and sooo comfortable. The pool is a little walk down the road, same with the beach, however it is a nice community. The drinks at the bar are DELICIOUS. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone! Check in was easy. There is a keypad lock on the door making access easy. Checkout was equally easy, load the dishwasher, start a load of towels, take out the trash, and move out. We had an issue during our stay with the master drain not draining. We reached out to Largo directly via phone and via VRBO chat and were ignored. We were unable to locate the wifi based on the information provided. Again we reached out to Largo and got no response. The Ocean Pointe property has Wifi that we were able to connect to, but this is not what was supposed to be provided to us. Not reflective of the unit directly, but the beach on the property was poorly maintained. It had a terrible odor and was full of dead foliage and debris. ##### Foster B. Super clean and thoughtful amenities like a beach bag and coolers that we used a lot. The unit was very quiet and grounds were well kept and private. We enjoyed the pool and beach for relaxing close to home and made our own meals several times in the well stocked kitchen. Largo was a great communicator and checking in and out were really easy. The condo was in a convenient location, it was a short drive to variety of restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies and state parks. The condo was well stocked and clean. The condo complex had a small beach with a wading area. Largo Miller was terrific to work with, he provided detailed instructions for check-in and check-out. This condo was by far one of the best I’ve stayed in. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could imagine plus Tupperware to use. The extra coolers are a plus as well!
