As the oldest hotel in Zakopane, its history is reflected in beautiful architectural details—carved woodwork, grand staircases, and classic finishes that give the building timeless character. Photos truly do not do this hotel justice. While a few cosmetic elements show their age, the important details—comfort and atmosphere—are outstanding. The beds are exceptionally comfortable with plush down pillows, high-quality down comforters, and crisp cotton bedding. Bathrooms are spacious and modern with excellent amenities. My room even had a lovely terrace overlooking the street, and despite being close to everything in town, nights were remarkably quiet. The breakfast buffet was the best I experienced during my two weeks in Poland—abundant, fresh, and beautifully presented. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was equally impressive; the duck was superb, the fish perfectly prepared, and the service excellent. The staff were gracious and accommodating throughout our stay, from adding a late-arriving companion to our reservation to holding our luggage after checkout.
