Located in a gated community, Villa Fortuna is a secluded Luxury home and perfect vacation retreat with all the piece, tranquility and tropical blend you are looking for. Perched atop a small mountain peak, allowing for a magnificent 180° view of the ocean and surrounding mountain tops and valleys.

When you stay at Villa Fortuna - you will NEVER want to leave!
The space
This open concept three-level home features 1 Master and 2 Junior suites, all featuring luxurious King & Queen Sleeper Beds.
Walk out to the swimming pool hanging over the edge of the mountain top to sunbathe, take a swim or enjoy a drink. Take in the beautiful ocean views and the most spectacular sunsets you will ever see anywhere in the world! If you need shade and a little bit of peace and quiet, you can also relax on the covered patio with a gorgeous mountain view.

On the open concept main floor, you are surrounded by the beauty of nature. In addition to the modern kitchen, large dining room, and a spacious living room. An amazing ocea view outdoor terrace standing tight by the leaving room and kitchen for the most spending sunset you will enjoy.
On the second floor you will find the Master Bedroom with ocean view, Extra-large bathroom with Jacuzzi tube and stand-up shower.
Third floor all with Ocean views everywhere has a 2 large bathroom a 2nd spacious living room and full bathroom.
The home has a top-of-the-line sound system combine with Alexa program so you can enjoy your favorite music throughout the Home or when you’re at the pool.

During your stay you may encounter some of the many species of wildlife Costa Rica has to offer. Iguanas, Sloths, White-Tailed Deer, and Armadillos are just some of the animals that have been seen on or around the property. You will also be treated daily to the sight of a wide variety of birds and butterflies, including Macaws feeding off the Casa's almond tree.
Speaking of which, feel free to indulge in all the fresh fruit available to be picked from the trees right on the property, including - among others - Oranges, Limes, Papaya, Chili Peppers, Bananas, Passionfruit, Mandarins, and Plantains.
However, in the interest of full disclosure, we must note the property's single small issue... although all the community have paved road and to the house we do recommend renting a 4x4 as it is a must!

Amazing view of the Pacific Ocean!

We truly enjoyed our 3 weeks at Villa Fortuna in Costa Montana near the town of Tarcoles along the Pacific Coast in Costa Rica. Costa Montana is a gated community with 24/7 security. The views are breathtaking! All 3 bedrooms overlook the Pacific Ocean and the rainforest below. The drive up the mountain is not for the faint of heart. It is STEEP - a 4 wheel drive is an absolute must. The last section up to Villa Fortuna is a 22 degree grade with 3 switchbacks. If you like to walk be prepared for very steep inclines. The house is very comfortable with 3 floors, 3 large and comfortable bedrooms (with a 4th small overflow bedroom). Breakfast at the outdoor table just off the kitchen was our opportunity to see toucans/macaws. The Sonos sound system which feeds music to the pool, den or family room was excellent. The BBQ area was perfect for eat at home nights. We requested a cleaner to come in weekly and she was excellent and very affordable. The pool and patio overlooking the Pacific and rainforest below were the absolute highlight of our stay. Not everything in the write up is accurate. There is no fresh fruit on the property as stated. There are a number of typos. There is only 1 bathroom (not 2) serving two bedrooms on the third floor. The property does not have a direct sunset view - the sun sets behind the rainforest. Our host was excellent - always there to meet our needs. Gracias Robert. A wonderful stay at a very beautiful home.
