The place was spotless, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Anita was an exceptional host—warm, welcoming, and incredibly thoughtful. She gave us a detailed and friendly introduction to the area, which made our visit even more enjoyable. We stayed in three of the variable lodging options Koko, Beautiful, and Four toes. Plenty of space despite a lot of people. Rustic feeling to some degree. Gym was closed when we were there but there is good hiking not too far away. We used the place as our base for skiing at Angel Fire but am could have skiied Red River (25 minutes away) or Taos (45) as well. There is a private back deck and patio with a gas grill. We stayed for two nights for fishing and birdwatching at the two local state parks. I especially recommend Cimarron Canyon state park- unbelievable scenery! We would not hesitate to stay at one of Anita’s properties again. The only issue was that Anita and Curtis had workers come to stain the front and back porch while we were living there.
