"The fatal flaw was that the actual location of the treehouse was different from the map on Expedia. This resulted in more travel than necessary. Also, there was no wifi and the shower was broken. The staff were wonderful."

"Mike, his wife and 2 daughters were excellent. However the place was affected by nature and there is no electricity, no wifi, no hot water. As other guests have said before, it is a long way from Lenakel, 1.5 hours driving on the dirt road which can be difficult after rain. So I won't recommend staying more than 2-3 nights mainly to see the volcano+- the Iatapu traditional dance."

"Morris, Susie and their family were so welcoming and really looked after us. The location is something else and you can just sit and watch the volcano and listen to it rumble for hours. Our bungalow was basic but comfortable, and it was nice to be able to switch off for a couple of days and experience the local village life. You share meal times and the overall experience with the other guests which was also really nice - met some wonderful people. Morris also organised outings for us to the volcano, local village and to a waterfall too which were all amazing. Will definitely be back!"

"This is an authentic local experience that provides an opportunity to live like a local, but high above the jungle canopy in a hand-built treehouse. It is perfect for adventurous travellers wanting more than western-style accommodation with the odd hibiscus flower… this is true Ni-Van lifestyle immersion, right under an active volcano, in the midst of authentic villages, with people who will move literal mountains to make your stay memorable. And memorable it will be! Not suitable for elderly or very young travellers die to height of the treehouse, but adventurers unite! This place is all heart and soul, and hosts Philip and Suzanne are the beating pulse connecting it all. We arrived as strangers but we left as family. Highly recommended. "
