Our room had a shared infinity pool with an ocean view. The service was excellent along with the food and the ambience. Very quiet, very quaint. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The dinners were some of the best I’ve had on the island! Can’t wait to return.

We brought our own water shoes and snorkeling gear. Didn't get to see any sea turtles, but we heard there were some eating by the sea grass on Baby Beach. The water was so calm and beautiful you could take a nap floating in the water and not get swept out to sea. The resort had a little section of the beach that was set up with a couple canopies that had beach chairs underneath. The pools were nice and clean. The food was surprisingly pretty good for an all inclusive place. We did the romantic dinner in the wine cellar of Portofino that we felt was not worth the price. It felt awkward because everyone was able to see us inside, it was quiet until we connected our music to Bluetooth, the staff came in and out of the room to grab wine for other guests, and the wine cellar connects two restaurants together so staff was walking through the wine cellar. Also the menu was exactly the same. Nothing special except we ate inside the wine cellar. The resort was newly opened since June 2025 so there was still construction being done. Clean room but outdated

The Barcelo is a very nice hotel however, it is outdated. The sliding doors on the closet did not slide easily and one was very hard to move. The pool is beautiful but, a lot of tiles were missing around the perimeter. The staff were very nice. The rooms were kept clean. The breakfast buffet was good. We enjoyed watching the birds and iguanas while eating breakfast outside.

We had such a great time staying at the Divi. We stayed in a one bedroom in the main building everything is beautifully updated and clean! The pool area is so spacious and you didn’t ever feel like there were too many people even though the front desk said they were at 80% capacity. The beach was great and clean it was so easy to get chairs and palapas you could easily sleep in a bit and get a great spot even at 8am. We also used the grill area for lunch which was great to have onsite. The grocery store is very close by so we did a lot of cooking for breakfast and lunch onsite. Overall I highly recommend this resort and we will be coming back!
