"Overall a good stay. The room was quiet. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were half-sized. Room was clean but smelled strongly of disinfectant, which gave my wife a headache. Went to get ice but the ice machine was out of service. We had to leave very early so we didn’t have a chance to have breakfast but that area looked well equiped and clean. It was only a stop on a bigger trip so we didn’t use the pool but it looked nice and well maintained. It was a nice stay and our main complaint was the overly strong smell of disinfectant or air freshener."

"Staying in the historic house was an amazing experience. You have all the creature comforts you could ask for while staying on one of the most remote islands on the east coast. It was an experience I will never forget and will be back again."

"We had a great time fishing and exploring the Eastern Shore and Virginia Beach. The cabin was beautiful and secluded. We really enjoyed sitting on the dock and fishing every evening. There were plenty of deer, bunnies, birds, and crabs to keep us company. Our dog loved playing frisbee and taking walks in the evening. There are lots of fun things to do in the area if you love the outdoors. If you don't mind a little longer drive, Virginia Beach is a great day trip with lots of nice beaches."
Walkable Beach Retreat on Chesapeake Bay!

"Such a great place to stay! Very equipped cottage. We rented a golf cart to get us around the island. Beach is walkable and the cottage has some chairs sand toys and umbrellas you can borrow. Caretaker Fran stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed too which was great. All the locals are super friendly and very welcoming. We will be back next summer for sure. Thank you"
