The hotel is 2km outside of tanah rata so we had to get a taxi there if we wanted to go there. It starts with the carpet in the corridor and room, the old fashioned furniture, hard beds in which your partner’s turn makes you wobble and ends with the nonexistent ac. Room and bathroom were a little dated but all clean and tidy. Balcony made for great views and ability to have door and windows open at all times, which is good as there is no air con (it's not too hot there anyway). Location isn't perfect unless you're happy to walk but it's about a 15 min walk to the Golden Hills Night Markets, then a further 10mins to shops. There is a restaurant at hotel, but also a Steam Boat Restaurant next door (would recommend).
