"Reception staff, friendly and courteous. The room was clean, warm and comfortable. The breakfast tables weren't properly set up, we were offered tea but no toast, the cereal's offered were adequate but the cooked breakfast had obviously been sitting uncovered for quite a while and the fried eggs were hard."

"We had a wonderful stay with excellent service, very clean and comfortable rooms, and genuinely lovely staff. The restaurant served great food, and we were delighted to see so many guest dogs, which added such a warm and welcoming atmosphere."

"The staff were fantastic. Couldn’t fault them and they were always very helpful. Since Galgorm have taken over and made it ‘family friendly’ it has turned tacky. They need to either revamp and modernise the hotel for family’s and kids or else reinstate it to its former glory. A helter skelter in the car park, a bouncy castle in one of the large rooms make it feel like a very expensive kids adventure play area. £500 for 2 nights and not stated anywhere that the main bar is closed and only a ‘pop up’ bar with 2 beers on draft and a few spirits. It’s sad to see such an amazing place go downhill so much "
