"I ett bortglömt hörn av Tokaj ligger en sliten by med ett härligt litet hotell. Passade oss som hojåkare perfekt. Kunde parkera tryggt, bra mat, ännu bättre viner och väldigt trevliga värdar. "We had a wonderful family holiday here. We are so glad we booked this place instead of the one on the nearby city Miskolc. The pool and jacuzzi was so much fun for our kids and the food was remarkable. The steak and chips was so delicious! The Gypsy pork chops are making me want to drive back for another holiday! I highly recommend this place if one is looking for a local Hungarian experience with an incredibly supportive and loving hotel team! We will definitely be back next year! "

Top Taktaharkány Hotel Reviews

City Hotel Miskolc

City Hotel Miskolc

8/10 Good
"The staff are friendly, the room was spacious, and the breakfast was very good. My only issue was with the wellness center. The whirlpool had several of the jets not working and the steam room was not operational. But overall, this is a nice hotel."

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Taktaharkány?
The best time to visit Taktaharkány is during the late spring (May to early June) and early autumn (September to early October) when the weather is pleasant and the natural beauty of the region is at its peak.

During late spring, the countryside around Taktaharkány bursts into life with lush greenery and blooming wildflowers. This is an excellent time for couples who enjoy outdoor activities like gentle strolls or cycling along the river Tisza, as the temperatures are comfortable and the days are long. The local markets also begin to offer fresh produce, providing a taste of regional flavours.

Early autumn offers similarly agreeable weather, with warm, sunny days and cooler evenings. The changing foliage provides a beautiful backdrop for exploring the area. This period is particularly suitable for those interested in local culture and gastronomy, as it often coincides with grape harvests and wine festivals in the broader Tokaj wine region, just a short drive away.
