"5/5 Stars – Idyllic GetawayWe returned from a two-week stay at West Quoddy ocean cottage well rested and recharged. The highlight of the cottage is the design: you get private, unobstructed oceanfront views from all windows. Waking up to incredible sunrises and the sounds of the waves was wonderful.—we saw beautiful birds throughout our stay and we were even treated to a visit from seals!. For our two-week trip, having a space so thoughtfully equipped, comfortable, and beautifully situated made it feel like a true getaway. If you want a private piece of coastal heaven, this is it! Thank you to Shannon (our host) for your quick response time(when we had questions) and truly making our getaway a retreat to remember. Pam and Richard Oct 2026"

"Everything described for this site was spot on. The view was spectacular. The cabin was cozy. The host (Kat) could not have been more helpful. Get your groceries on the way in. The Foodland in Sheet Harbour is about 30 minutes away and is well stocked. Restaurant in Sheet Harbour, Henley, a Welsh dining experience. This place is remote but a great place to disconnect from civilization and travel angst."

"The only suggestion, and not a criticism, would be to have a later check out. To have the ability to cook a last breakfast, clean up and have coffee on the deck without the early exit pressure, would make it a 5 star rating. I am a country girl so understand the well system/water pressure situation, the city folks were thrown so it could throw some other travelers from major cities.Place was clean, welcoming, and had the essentials. The view and wildlife was perfection. As was the communication with the host. If they will have us back, would love to return."
