"Wonderful stay. Tahoe is an exceptional destination.
Pros: Clean, roomy suite, nice view. Decent food. Nice staff. Prompt valet for luggage. Fairly quiet. Beautiful pool/spa setting. Very private blocking out the wind. Nice complimentary water bottles to drink from the whole stay and take home. Nice refrigerator. Great comfortable King bed. Good pillows and towels. Good food in available restaurants. Banks, grocery stores, and other amenities were not too far a drive away.
Cons: two nights and three days, only one elevator was working the whole time.
Delayed by up to ten minutes several times. Check in was not until 4:00--which was what was posted--but that was a long wait. Most hotels can get you in a bit sooner. Felt a bit strung along as started inquiring at noon and every half hour they said soon. Wish they had just said 4:00 and we could have gone sight seeing. Beach and restaurants closed for remodel in the lake area. Valet parking $50 a night and self parking $30 a night per person. That is high. Plus if came in late very limited parking in self parking. Had to park quite aways away."
"Loved the location! It was right across from the lake! The hotel was okay, no frills but the rooms were very clean! The property itself is old and could use a little TLC.
The small restaurant attached to the property (Elements) was absolutely amazing and convenient!
Overall great stay!"
"Our stay was last minute. If you don’t mind a fixer uppers then you’re good. It’s under renovation so the elevators were a bit sketchy. Our room was beautiful but it was missing a few things that we had to call for. We wanted to shower right away but bc we didn’t bring towels, the room also didn’t have towels either. We had to call room service. They did take a while to bring the towels to the room. On another note the bed was really comfy and clean. The shower seemed like it was cleaned in a rush bc there was other peoples hairs (if you know what I meaaaan). Other than that, everything was pretty close to it. So it’s was very convenient! Would definitely stay again!"
"Staff were very kind of helpful. The property is very convenient to walk to most restaurants. We had a great day and the headlight Jacuzzi was a nice touch. They also have a nice breakfast spot with really amazing coffee. Will stay again"
"This was a quiet place to stay in a very busy area. The room was spacious. The bathroom was a bit tiny but got the job done.
Parking was very easy.
It did say that fans were available and in the rooms. So no ac. There were 3 fans and the windows.were open. Thankfully it was a cooler night and not hot and humid. We only needed 1 and did see space heaters for when it has cooler weather. Besides being a little outdated this was a fine place to sleep, freshen up and recharge."
