Location is 10min from Palisades Tahoe with 6,000 skiable acres, 3rd largest in the US. Room with on site sledding for extra fee. Restaurant directly below opens mid December. Pamper yourself at the onsite day spa. Gym, pool, hot tub and sauna access. Average wifi speeds 50MBS down / 15MBS up. New king memory bed. Safe and private location. Private Balcony w/ seating. Pool, hot tub, sauna, restaurant, hiking, and ski hill. There is a bus depot, but it is quite a walk from the place. We advise having a car. There is some Uber, but it is limited.

Great Host and property

Property just as described. Perfect for 2 people. Pool and hot tub were nice after a day of skiing. Host was excellent to work with. I had a personal issue and host went out of her way to help me and and get me into the property. Would definitely recommend.

Great location

I went for a week of skiing/snowboarding at Palisades/Alpine. Very convenient location and a real easy drive to the slopes and into Tahoe City. The owners will respond quickly to any questions. I recommend this unit.

Cozy and comfortable room in a fantastic location. Diane was great to communicate with and very responsive. Another wonderful weekend in Tahoe. We'll definitely be back.

A wonderful room with a view

A wonderful room with a view on a magnificent property. Easy access to Tahoe Rim Trail. A lovely small deck. Staff is very helpful.

Amazing location and comfortable accommodations

I was visiting Granlibakken for a teacher workshop and happened upon this listing! I was very glad to be staying in a privately owned property with access to the pool and other amenities. It was a very short drive to downtown Tahoe City, and the views were unbeatable. This area of the country is spectacular, and this property was a great base camp for exploring. Would definitely recommend.
