Our group of 4 cousins had a wonderful stay here. The cabin is easy to find, surrounded by a beautiful forest and only a short 15min drive to palisades. Inside is very cute and cozy, and a perfect get away to relax in. The place is small enough to be cozy and give us a good sense of togetherness, but had everything we needed to cook up a full thanksgiving dinner! The location is perfect - you can walk to Sunnyside, Firesign, and the West Shore Market, but it's far enough away from the main road to be nice and quiet. We love Plesums! ##### Chad M. We liked that the place felt like visiting a family cabin, where simplicity and good quality come together. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second time at this cozy little cabin. Our first experience was lovely and this time was even better! Comfortable, clean, with all the basics and then some. They now have some nice mugs, too and the gas fireplace and internet also worked perfectly (last stay - those were my only tiny gripes - haha!). We were very happy with our stay and look forward to booking again soon. Perfect for the three of us (my husband and I and our six year old)! Easy drive to Palisades and Alpine and a nice quiet neighborhood. But don't tell anyone. ;) The house is so close to many amenities and beaches. There's so much to do and see. We had a great time. The house is a good size for two-to-four people with one bathroom (the shower head could use improvement--hard to get the shampoo out of your hair with the low pressure). The king bed is comfortable but the fitted sheet kept coming off in the middle of the night because it's older and the elastic is shot. The coffee machine could use an upgrade too--old school Mr. Coffee I think. And the bear precautions (very necessary) are a bit unsettling, but you get used to it. It had a great feel and located close to everything. I wish it had been cleaner, there were several cob webs that needed to be cleaned before a daughter would sleep in the room. The shower curtain needed to be cleaned or replaced as well. I also wished there was more toilet paper. There were only 2 rolls for 4 people to use for a 5 day stay. So be prepared to buy to bring your own. I wish there were some spare bed sheets for the kids room as they needed to be washed again to get the smell out before my kids would sleep in the beds. I know these are small issues we had, and other than that, this place was great, welcoming, and I would recommend staying again. My kids loved the singing bass on he wall and how it really felt like a cabin in the woods. ##### John M. T.
