This four bedroom home provides a clean and uncluttered respite from the world, and is very conveniently located. This home is very conveniently located for all the fun and necessities you'd want during your stay. In the peaceful Dollar Point neighborhood, you'll find it hard not to relax during your stay. Just 3.5 miles away is Tahoe City where you will find many great restaurants, fun shops, a park, and other great beaches. There is a walking/bike path you can take from this home to Tahoe City to enjoy the outdoors while exploring the area. A short distance from the beaches at Skylandia and Bristlecone, there is something for every season. This home has two levels. On the lower level you will find two of the bedrooms, one with a king bed, one with a queen bed and an extra family room with access to the yard. On the upper level will be the remaining two bedrooms with a queen bed in one and a bunk bed with a sofa sleeper in the other. Along with the two bedrooms is the large kitchen, dining area, and living area with an open and spacious floor plan allowing you to enjoy the company of all your guests. With large windows throughout the upstairs it allows plenty of natural light with views of the surrounding Tahoe pines. Step outside on the deck and enjoy a nice morning cup of coffee taking in the fresh Tahoe air or, in the evening hours, enjoy a nice outdoor dinner. Location: While some may want to stick around the house and have a snow day at the property, perhaps others will want to venture out to the local ski spots like Northstar (12 miles away) and Alpine Meadows/Palisades Tahoe (10 miles away). On a summer day, you will be only a few minutes from beautiful Lake Tahoe beaches. You may choose to head down and grab a breakfast at the Fire Sign Cafe, or head into Tahoe City for many other breakfast and dining options. Parking: Parking is available for 4 cars total, two in the garage and two in the driveway. All cars must park in the garage or on the driveway. No street parking per county ordinance. Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months. Well stocked kitchen, huge TV and a big garage for storing bikes. Perfect 4 day weekend for our extended family and near beaches, trails and Tahoe City. We stayed here with our adult children and 2 dogs. We spent a majority of our time in the large kitchen/family room area; cooking together, watching the big TV, eating and doing a puzzle at the dining table that could easily seat all of us and a deck off the kitchen with an outdoor table an BBQ where we spent mornings reading, afternoons sunning and evenings eating dinner. The kitchen is stocked with any utensil or appliance you would need and the 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms gave everyone their individual space too. Dollar Point is a beautiful and peaceful neighborhood.
