About this property
Adventures of the A-frame- 3BR w/ Hot Tub, Backs to forest- Dogs OK!
Dog-Friendly - Trails Right Outside- Short Drive to the Beach! Adventures of the A-Frame" is your ultimate dog-friendly mountain escape in North Tahoe, nestled on a private road surrounded by 400 square miles of pristine forest. Step into this adorable A-frame Cabin with its newly decorated 60s-inspired furnishings, creating a Mad-Men-stylized ambiance. Enjoy the cozy wood stove, well-equipped kitchen, and sun-drenched front and back porches shaded by majestic pine trees and includes a private hot tub. With its prime location between Tahoe City and Tahoe Vista, near the stunning shores of Carnelian Bay, endless adventures await right outside your door. Backs up to expansive Tahoe forests, offering easy access to hiking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. 5-minute drive to the lake and a short distance to Tahoe City's vibrant dining, bars, cafes, and organic grocery store. Centrally located to major ski areas of North Lake Tahoe for thrilling winter experiences. Cozy living room with comfortable seating, flat-screen TV with Apple TV, and a wood stove for added warmth. Mod dining room table for family-style meals and a well-equipped kitchen for culinary delights. Comfortable bedrooms, including a compact King Bedroom downstairs and two charming bedrooms upstairs. Dog-friendly accommodation, welcoming your furry friends to join in the adventure. Proximity to the shores of Carnelian Bay and its dog-friendly public beach, perfect for water sports and leisurely strolls. *Tahoe is a beautiful and fun place to visit, but occasionally this area can be affected by extreme weather events. While we never want things like icy roads, road closures, or smoke from wildfires to negatively impact our guests, it can happen. We ask travelers to plan their vacation appropriately for the rural mountain climate and encourage guests to research all travel insurance options, as Tahoe Truckee Vacation Properties cannot provide refunds for things outside of our control.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: -Please Note- The stairs going to the upper bedrooms are somewhat steep, and can sometimes be challenging for young children, or those with mobility challenges. -This is an older cabin and sounds travel between all of the spaces fairly easily due to its A-frame nature. Guests walking on the stairs or in the upstairs rooms may prove to be audible to that downstairs. -Important, this property does not have air conditioning. Air conditioners are extremely unusual in North Lake Tahoe. -This is a dog-friendly house but in order to bring a dog, you must pay a $100 dog fee per dog, 2 dog maximum. If you bring a dog without paying the dog fee, you will be subject to a fine much greater than the pet fee. -Additional Fees include cleaning fee, administration fee, and local Transient Occupancy Tax. Check-out time is 10 AM.

Had lots of fun staying here with my family. We had everything we needed. Dining table chairs were a bit wobbly but my husband took care of that. The house has a wonderful Hollywood vibe. We were only able to use the hot tub once because we were hardly there due to all the great swimming activities nearby. We had a great time! Would rent again!
